There will also be long & short course options available for each race option, Rabbit Island.\nRace Day Schedule:\nLong Course\n\n8.00 am Check-in and bike racking opens\n8.45 am Check-in closes, no late check-ins or entries\n8.50 am Race briefing (ALL competitors MUST attend the race briefing!)\n9.00 am Race Start\n\n*Short Course\n\n9.00 am Check-in and bike racking opens\n9.45 am Check-in closes, no late check-ins or entries\n9.50 am Race briefing (ALL competitors MUST attend the race briefing!)\n10.00 am Race Start\n\n*Please be aware of competitors in the longer race as you enter Rabbit Island and set up your gear.\nFollowing the race, a barbecue will be held, free to competitors. There will also be a small prizegiving (spot prizes only)\nRace Options:\n\nTriathlon, long course (1500m swim, 40km bike, 10km run)\nTriathlon, short course (750m swim, 20km bike, 5km run)\nDuathlon, long course (10km run, 40km bike, 5km run)\nDuathlon, short course (5km run, 20km bike, 2.5km run)\n\nWe warmly welcome, the Tasman Secondary Schools Triathlon to this race. If you are registering for the Schools Triathlon under the category option ensure you select either Junior ( yr 9-10) or Senior (yr 11,12,13). These two categories are exclusively for the Schools. Also ensure you select the name of the school you are representing. The School name is also exclusive to those taking part in the TSS Tri, if you’re not part of the school Triathlon there’s no need to select a school name.\nPayment Options :\n\nPay online Adult or Team non-member ($30) -select this option to pay online either single adult entry or team entry.\nPay online Adult Tri Club member ( https://2025.nelsontriclub.co.nz/membership/ ) ($20) -select this option to pay online and receive the club discount, must be a Nelson Tri Club member.\nPay online Student U18 non-member ($15) -select this option to pay online and receive School Student (U18) discount.\nPay online Student U18 Tri Club member ( https://2025.nelsontriclub.co.nz/membership/ ) ($10) -select this option to pay online and receive the U18 School Student club discount, must be a Nelson Tri Club member.\nPay at event (bring cash on the day of race) -select this option to pay cash on the day of the race. No discounts for this option.\n\nNote to encourage pre-race entries, race day entries will attract a 50% extra penalty and no discounts apply. If you’re uncertain about whether to compete and wish to avoid the late entry penalty, please enter online, selecting ‘Pay at Event‘ under the Payment option. It is the participant’s responsibility to keep left and ride single file unless passing.\nEntrants under 18 take part at their parent’s/guardian’s discretion.\nIt is the participant’s responsibility to make themselves aware of the race rules; the racecourses; to attend the compulsory race briefing and to participate in a safe and responsible manner.\n\n
