Our spring series kicked off on Sunday 7th September with 30 athletes taking part. It was a sunny but windy morning, and competitors gave it their all across triathlon and duathlon events. Congratulations to all our winners, and a big thank you to our volunteers and new series sponsor, Kiwi Multisport.
The Nelson Tri Club season got underway on Sunday 17th August with the first-ever Fulton Hogan Road Bike Duathlon at Rabbit and Rough Islands. In perfect racing conditions, 51 competitors tackled the mix of trail running and smooth road cycling, with strong performances across both the short and long courses.
Perfect conditions for the Proper Crisps Team Triathlon, 29 teams and individuals, and plenty of fun! A huge thanks to Proper Crisps, our volunteers, and Pete Marshall for the photos.
What a brilliant day at Rabbit Island! Athletes tackled a mix of swimming, biking, running, and kayaking across triathlon, duathlon, and multisport events, with both long and short courses on offer. A huge thank you to Chia Sisters for their support and to all our amazing volunteers.
115 swimmers braved cold, rainy conditions at Tata Beach for an exciting day of open-water swimming. Congratulations to all participants and a big thank you to our sponsors, Rylock Windows & Doors, and the volunteers who made it possible.
It was a beautiful, sunny day at Rabbit Island for the Village Cycle Sprint Triathlon Club Championships! With 62 participants across Triathlon, Duathlon, and Multisport categories, the event brought out a fantastic mix of abilities and ages.
