Rylock Summer Sea Swim Series 2026-27
The Rylock Summer Swim Series kicks off on November 12, 2026, and takes place every Thursday evening at 6:00 PM until March 18, 2027. The swims are held from the Nelson Yacht Club ramp on Wakefield Quay in Nelson. Swimmers must check in before 5:45 PM on race night.
Chia Sisters Cross Triathlon 2026
Choose between the Sprint Distance (750m swim, 15-20km mountain bike, 5km run) or Short Distance (250m swim, 8-10km mountain bike, 2km run), with duathlon options available.
Race 1: Rylock Endurance Swim, Opening Splash 2026
Opening Splash is a reversal of the Eyebright Mile. Start at Tahunanui Beach and finish at the yacht club ramp. Short option, start at Richardson St Steps, swim to the yacht club, 600m.

Race 2: Rylock Endurance Swim, 2km Eyebright Mile 2026
Join us for the traditional race from the Nelson Yacht Club ramp to Tahunanui Beach. There’s also a short option (1300m) starting from the Richardson St steps.

Tata Beach Swim 2027

NEW Race 3: Rylock Endurance Swim, 3km Relay 2026
The 3km Relay Swim is a new addition to the Rylock Windows & Doors Endurance Series. The event consists of three 1km laps, with the option to complete the full 3km individually or share the distance as a team.

Race 4: Rylock Endurance Swim, Ironman Challenge 2027
Dive into the Rylock Windows & Doors Ironman Challenge, a thrilling open water swim starting from the iconic Tahunanui Beach. Swimmers will embark on a challenging course, heading north to reach the dolphin navigation marker at high tide. From there, they’ll turn south to follow the southeast toe of Haulashore Island around to the second navigation marker south of the island before making their way back to the beach. For competitors in the short swim of 1300m, a walk to the Richardson St steps awaits, followed by a straight swim back to Tahunanui Beach, starting approximately 30 minutes after the 3.8km race.
