CANCELLED – BAD WEATHER
The final race of the season, with 3.8km or 1.3km options.
For the 3.8km swim, the start is at 10am on Tahunanui Beach, swimming north to round a buoy near Rocks Rd, then the dolphin navigation marker before heading south, rounding the toe of the island as closely as possible without running aground. Across the south end of the island to swim inside the second navigation marker before returning to the beach.
High tide is at 10.33am, so it should be slack water at the northern end of the course.
The short swim starts at the Richardson Steps and finishes on the beach. It starts at about 10.30am.
All swimmers need to register on the beach between 9am and 9.45am.
