Race Day Schedule
- 8:45 am Check-in opens
- 9:30 am Check-in closes (no late entries or check-ins)
- 9:35 am Race briefing ALL swimmers must be out of the water, on the ramp, ready for the swim and listen carefully to the race briefing.
- 9:45 am Race start (Long course)
- *10:15 am *(approx. start time may vary) (Short course, start Richardson St steps. Short course swimmers must attend the race briefing at the Yacht Club at 9:35 am)

Payment Options (Select one):
- Pay online non-member ($30) -select this option to pay online (non-member).
- Pay online *Club member ($20) – must be Nelson Tri Member for race season 2024-2025. -select this option to pay online as a club member. Note you must be a registered member to receive the discount. To become a member go to: Nelson Tri Club Membership. You’ll need your membership confirmation email for proof. Club members receive *one free series swim cap.
- Pay at event (bring cash on day of swim) -select this option to pay cash on day of swim.
- Series swim cap ($5) -select this option if you don’t already have a series swim cap and are a non-member (club members receive one free swim cap). All swimmers must wear correct colour coded series swim cap. Note you only need to purchase one cap which can be used over again for the endurance series swims.
Note the registration allows you to select one or more in the Endurance series swims. If you only wish to do one then just tick the box next to the one you wish to register for. However, if you do decide later to do another swim in the series you’ll need to make sure you register again for that swim!
Note: Nelson Triathlon Club has a NO REFUND policy on club events.
Given the nature of the event and the challenges of tide and wave conditions, it is important that all athletes feel comfortable and confident swimming 500m front crawl, whilst making significant forward progress at all times. Adherence to this requirement will be at the sole discretion of the race director.
