Youth Triathlon Training Group is Back!
Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or have never even thought about triathlon, this is the perfect place to give it a go, build confidence, and learn some awesome new skills in a fun, supportive environment.
WHAT | WHEN | WHERE
When: Saturdays, 9:00–10:30am
Where: Meet at the main toilet block, Rabbit Island
WHO CAN JOIN?
- Ages 10–15 years (primarily)
- 9-year-olds welcome if they are confident swimmers
- No experience needed — sessions focus on fun while learning the basics of running, biking, and swimming (or just running & biking)
OLDER YOUTH KEEN TO JOIN?
Get in touch — if there’s enough interest, we’re keen to start a group for older athletes too.
WHAT DO I NEED?
Keep it simple:
- A mountain bike (or any bike you’re comfortable on)
- Running shoes
- Swimming togs
ABOUT THE SWIMMING
Swimming is optional. It’s a relaxed, low-pressure way to try open-water swimming and build confidence if you’d like to give it a go.
FEES & PAYMENT
- $5 per session or $25 per term
- Family cap: max $10 per session or $50 per family per term
- Payment: cash on the day — no need to pre-register
