Fantastic day of racing for Race 1 of the Kayak HQ Multisport Triathlon and Duathlon!
After a couple of days of torrential rain we were lucky enough to have perfect conditions (apart from a bit of mud!) and a great turnout of competitors – some regular faces, some young and “not so” young, and also new faces, including 1 competitor who travelled from Greymouth to get in some practice for the Coast to Coast!

Thanks to everyone for making the day such a success and to the volunteers & Committee who helped with the pre planning, race day setup, marshalling, registration, timekeeping bbq etc. Without people to do these jobs the event couldn’t happen.
