Race Report – Fulton Hogan Road Bike Duathlon 2025

The 2025–2026 Nelson Tri Club season kicked off on Sunday 17th August with the brand-new Fulton Hogan Road Bike Duathlon, held at Greenslade Park with courses across Rabbit and Rough Islands.

It was a great day for racing, with 51 competitors (including teams) taking on either the short or long course. Athletes enjoyed a fast run on the Rough Island trails, a smooth road bike leg between the islands, and a final run to the finish. There was a good mix of ages and abilities on the start line, from first-timers to experienced duathletes.
