Rylock Endurance Swim Series Begins – Opening Splash 2025 – Results

Conditions couldn’t have been better—clear skies, smooth water, and a high tide at 7:47am. The air was crisp at 9°C, but the sunshine made for a spectacular morning on the bay.

A total of 66 swimmers took part in the first endurance swim of the season. In the long course, Eddie Swain led the way in wetsuit, followed by Finn Bryant and U16 swimmer Nia Linyard.

In the short course, Roger Matheson took the win.

A strong start to the Rylock Endurance Series, with youth and experience both shining through.

The next endurance race will be in the new year: the Eyebright Mile on 15 February 2026. Details here: Eyebright Mile Event.
