A perfect night for a swim, with dull skies (so no glare), calm water and just a little current at the end.
Hayden Squance and Harrison Dean settled into their groove at the front, with Lilly Claridge, Sophie Pahl and Emily Chadderton in a tight bunch leading the women.
Nia Linyard continued to dominate the short event, with 11-year-old Monty Chadderton the first male home.
