This series is close now, with races on April 22, May 6 and May 20.
Because so much of Rabbit Island cannot now be used because of the Great Taste Trail, or is unsuitable because of logging or biosolid spraying, we’ve revised the fomat.
In a departure from the format used for the past 13 years, we’re now using short courses, with a 1.6km undulating run course and a mostly flat 6km bike course, with multiple transitions.
We’ll also hold a micro race for competitors aged 5-12. Starting at 9.30am, this race will be free, with parents welcome to assist their children through the event.
As well, in recognition of the fact that there are now many more events to choose from and not all competitors can make all three races, we will have a small prizegiving on each race day, rather than the big prizegiving after race three as in the past.
