Chia Sisters Race Day Highlights – 2026

What a great morning out at Rabbit Island for the Chia Sisters Olympic Triathlon, Duathlon & Multisport race. Conditions were ideal for racing, with the long‑course athletes heading off at 7am and the short‑course racers starting an hour later. Across all events—Olympic and sprint triathlon, duathlon, multisport, and even a cheeky short aquathon that snuck its way into the programme, 57 competitors, including teams, put in strong performances and kept the atmosphere buzzing from start to finish.

There was close racing across all distances, with some very quick times from the overall winners in the Olympic and Sprint triathlon, duathlon, and multisport events. The long‑course athletes set a strong pace from the start, while the short‑course racers brought plenty of intensity and tight finishes. Teams added extra energy and support out on the course, with some great efforts from first‑timers and experienced racers alike. You can check out all the category and overall winners, along with full times and splits, in the results link below.

A huge thank you to our wonderful sponsors, the Chia Sisters, especially for the refreshing Chia drinks waiting for every competitor at the finish line. And as always, none of this happens without our amazing volunteers—your help with setup, timing, marshalling, and pack‑down keeps these events running smoothly.
