SWIM CANCELLED – HIGH WINDS MAKE IT HARD FOR SWIMMERS AND TOO DIFFICULT FOR THE SUPPORT BOATS
With regard to points. Here’s the rule on that from the website:
“As even the keenest swimmers can’t make every swim, season points will be taken on a competitor’s best swims taken over 66% of the season’s swims (if there are 18 or more swims, this will be the best 12 – if fewer than 18 swims are held, it will be over the best 11, etc). The age groups are decided on the swimmer’s age on December 1, 2022.”
Since there will now only be 17 swims, there’ll be an adjustment – 66% of 17 swims is 11 1/3, so the final season placing will be determined on each swimmer’s best 11 swims. The points table now reflects this, click here
