Interesting swim, with a different course and a hard slog back up the harbour. Terry Bone broke through with his first win of the season, ahead of Hamish Neill and Lilly Claridge. Mark Oliver ramped up the M60-69 competition, finishing fourth, with arch rival Denis Cooper eighth overall.
Hayden Lockie, Robert Sheridan and Keshia Linyard filled the intervening spaces. Sophie Pahl took 13th spot to fill third place in the women’s competition.
In the short race, burglar Eddie Swain snatched the win from Nia Linyard, Keisha Old and Charlotte Taylor.
