The Shoe Clinic MTB Duathlon Race 2 at Cable Bay Adventure Park took place on a stunning morning, marking the final race of the season. With 48 competitors and 12 kids participating in the kids’ race, it was a fantastic turnout.
The course at Cable Bay Adventure Park offered a fresh challenge, different from the usual terrain on Rabbit Island, adding an element of challenge to the race.
In the Long Duathlon category, Morgan Lumsden secured the top spot with a time of 48 minutes and 35.2 seconds, closely followed by Scott Smith and Isaac Millson.
Karen Fulton claimed victory in the first female Long Duathlon category with a time of 59 minutes and 21.2 seconds.
In the Short Duathlon category, Keshia Linyard led the pack with a time of 32 minutes and 44.9 seconds, followed by William Richards and Nia Linyard.
Congratulations to all participants for their outstanding performance in the final race of the season. We extend our thanks to Shoe Clinic for their support and great spot prizes, as well as the Cable Bay Adventure Park who hosted the race and Proper Crisps who provided all our competitors with a bag of crisps at the finish. A very special thanks to all the volunteers who made the event possible.
Looking forward to seeing you all again in the next season!
