Low tide is at 4.19pm, so it’ll be an incoming tide. That means the flow will be from the south, so we’ll swim towards it close to shore, angling out into the current for the return journey..
Turned out to be near perfect for a swim of 1600m for the long swim, a big loop around the harbour.
