Don’t forget the first swim in the Clements Windows and Doors Endurance Series on Sunday December 11. The First Splash is a 2km swim from Tahunanui Beach to the yacht club, with a short option of 600m from the Richardson St Steps. The event starts at 7.30am, so you’ll need to sign in from 6.45am. If you’ve signed in for the four-race Endurance Series, you’ll get a cap when you sign in – otherwise you’ll need to bring a cap of your own (or you can buy one for $5). If you’re planning to take the series races one at a time, you can sign in for individual races online, or if we already have your details from Thursday swims you can just arrive and pay $15 on the beach – your race number will be the same as that used for the Port Nelson Series.
Next Thursday’s swim will be followed by our annual Christmas barbecue. Stay on for food, bring a little more if you like, and a drink.
